The Shops at the Prudential will be lighting the top of the tower and the sky with different colors from December 1st to the 31st. Each light will represent a different organization. One special light that I plan on keeping an eye out for is purple on December 10th, the light for the Alzheimer's Association.
According to the Alzheimer's Association of Massachusetts/ New Hampshire website, a total of 5.4 million people have Alzheimer's Disease. That means families of 5.4 million people watch as the ones they love lose their short term memory, their long term memory, and eventually their cognitive abilities. There is no cure, but those who have been affected still have hope.
There are a lot of good causes out there and the Alzheimer's Association is no different. I am glad that the Prudential Center is continuing to support these different organizations and as a family member of three past and present Alzheimer's patients, I am personally grateful. So if you've been affected by any special oragnizations, look to the top of the Prudential for hope. Look to it and know that your cause is being spread, that it has a voice. To see if your light will shine, check the prudential website.
